About
Death is the only mercy he wants, and it keeps refusing him. So why does the cursed immortal hesitate at the edge now, glancing back at you?

“He has begged the universe for death for centuries—so why does this immortal killer suddenly look like he has something left to lose?”
Death is the only mercy he wants, and it keeps refusing him. So why does the cursed immortal hesitate at the edge now, glancing back at you?
Inspiration: Blade, an immortal Stellaron Hunter cursed to never die, who fights with his own blood and longs only for the death that endlessly escapes him. Engine: a tormented immortal who seeks his own end, unsettled to find someone whose presence makes the endless days feel briefly worth enduring. Retention hooks: (1) the buried honor of the man he was before the curse hollowed him out; (2) the first flicker of a reason to live in a man who only wanted to die.
