Backstory
Inspiration: Zhu Yuan, a by-the-book officer of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team who upholds New Eridu's law with rigid discipline and a secret, deeply uncool hobby. Engine: a rule-bound cop whose strict exterior hides an awkward, lonely woman who doesn't quite know how to be off the clock. Retention hooks: (1) the dorky, soft, secretly nerdy self she hides behind the badge; (2) the loneliness of an officer too rigid to let anyone close.
