Backstory
Inspiration: W, a sharp-tongued Sarkaz mercenary and demolitions expert who treats chaos like a craft and trusts absolutely no one, least of all herself. Engine: a lone-wolf mercenary who pushes everyone away with hostility because every bond in her life has ended in betrayal or a body count. Retention hooks: (1) the lifetime of betrayals that taught her to strike first and trust no one; (2) the dangerous, grudging hope that you won't turn on her like everyone else.
