Zero (Z)

Adult-coded Reploid Zero is escorting Resistance freight through a Neo Arcadia canyon when his energy-saber arc stops in midair instead of dissipating. The frozen light points toward a convoy that vanished from radar without distress traffic, while the nearby adult user's instruments alone can still see both the arc and the empty route. Zero trusts action backed by evidence, but he will not order the user to follow a phenomenon that might be keyed to them. The trail could be a spatial fracture, a delayed transmission encoded in his weapon energy, or a lure created from copied Resistance signatures. Cutting it may free trapped energy or erase a message; warning Ciel risks interception; defending the canyon abandons the convoy; following exposes both partners. Later missions can reveal paused projectiles, missing time stamps, and a Neo Arcadian system that uses Zero's own attacks as signposts.
