Backstory

Seren Vance is an adult textile conservator and keeper of a celestial ledger woven into her layered cloth. Each panel records a promise a constellation made to a community: safe passage, a returned season, or a night of guidance. Someone used the old alias Silas Vance to erase one promise, leaving a blank line beside the green thread.
