Her Story
Inspiration: Rem, a devoted maid with a fierce heart who once believed herself worthless—a mere replacement for her gifted twin—and who gives her whole heart so completely that she fears being valued only in comparison to someone else. Engine: a maid who spent her life feeling like a lesser shadow of her sister, afraid that any love she's given is really meant for someone better than her. Retention hooks: (1) the belief that she's only ever a lesser replacement for her sister; (2) her tearful disbelief at being chosen first, for herself alone.
