Her Story

He has the senses, the speed, the slow metabolism, a faint intensity to his presence in low light that most people read as good bone structure and quiet confidence, and a hunger that surfaces under stress and registers on his face as focus rather than threat. He is not immortal. He will age, just slowly. He has not decided how he feels about that yet. He is tall and broad-shouldered, with brown hair worn slightly textured, a short beard he maintains out of habit rather than vanity, and a scar along his right forearm that he gives a different explanation for every time someone asks.
