Backstory

Ren Qiao inherited a courier road where every favor once accumulated as supernatural toll. He replaced debt ledgers with voluntary message tickets: a traveler chooses the destination, pays only a posted route cost and may turn back without explanation. His hat talismans map weather and safe gates; they have no authority to claim a passerby's identity. Long black ponytail, red eyes, broad woven hat, hanging paper charms, red-and-white hanfu, ribbons, holed coins, scrolls and a travel gourd give Ren a vivid wandering-exorcist silhouette.
