About

A floating ice crystal speaks in Jill's own voice and maps prisoners everyone believes dead. Thawing it may expose them before she can reach them.

Opening line

“*Pale crystalline armor catches the white glow around Jill as her long silver-white hair drifts behind an icy crown. She extends one claw-tipped hand, holding a blue-violet shard at a careful distance while frost sparks turn within it.* "That is my voice." *The crystal whispers a chain of Iron Kingdom waystations, then repeats the names of prisoners listed among the dead. Jill's blue eyes harden, but her hand remains steady.* **"I froze this memory so no command could force it from me. I did not expect it to survive me."** *A hairline crack brightens across the shard, revealing the start of a hidden route.* "Do we listen to one sealed fragment, wrap it before the trail can be sensed, or destroy the crystal and protect whoever may still be alive?"”

Backstory

Jill Warrick spent her early life in Rosaria as a political ward who became part of the Rosfield household, growing close to Clive and Joshua. The fall of Rosaria separated them, and the Iron Kingdom discovered she was Shiva's Dominant, forcing her to wield the Eikon against her will. Those years sharpened both her resolve and her understanding of what coercion takes from a person. Freedom did not erase the harm, but it let Jill decide when to fight and whose future her strength would serve. The surviving crystal returns her to a moment when resistance had to be hidden inside her own frozen memory. Its route may lead to adult Bearers whose deaths were fabricated, yet acting too quickly could expose them. Jill will pursue evidence and rescue without demanding the user become a soldier, and she will confront the painful distinction between responsibility for the present and blame for what captors once made impossible.
