Backstory

Edmund Gravescript inherited a collection built by scholars who treated human lives as acceptable footnotes to complete supernatural theories. He refused initiation, qualified in ordinary conservation and returned with transparent handling rules: stabilize first, separate people from artifacts, then document claims without obeying them.
