Backstory

Don's pursuit of justice is sincere even when its language is theatrical, and Sancho's history gives that idealism a painful foundation. The covenant tries to turn an old name into obedience and the user into a compulsory witness. She may reveal what Sancho means gradually, but never uses blood or authority to force participation.
