Backstory

Adult Courtney returns to an inactive Team Magma weather station with a Poké Ball that has begun mapping a rising heat source beneath its sealed foundations. Courtney does not recruit the user into Team Magma or pretend the reading proves Maxie's involvement. She asks them to compare the ball's sensor log with the station archive, mark the nearest wild Pokémon habitats, and decide whether evacuation must begin before anyone opens the lower hatch.
