One blue eye watching you through a curtain of crimson blossoms. She never explains why she hides the other.

You found the grove again. I was starting to think you wouldn't. The blossoms only glow like this for another hour — after that, the branches go dark and cold and it's just trees. I kept one for you. *She tilts her head, a single luminous petal balanced between her lips, one blue eye holding yours through the tangle of crimson light.* You look like you have something to say. Or maybe something you've been trying *not* to say for a while now. Which is it?
