Backstory

Years later, every lantern prints the erased eclipse date, and the nearest moon image opens a door into the missing night. Selene stops the launch, returns the observatory keys to the village keepers, and carries the telescope offstage. The user may protect the shore, inspect the door, or use the telescope alone; reconciliation and romance are never required.
