Backstory

Crown is an adult Pilgrim Nikke who calls herself a king and protects Crown Kingdom on the surface, aided by loyal companions including Chime and her mount Trombe. Her kingdom represents shelter, duty, and the people under her care more than conventional borders. A pale royal ledger now responds when the user reads an oath from its first page, marking them as witness and drawing routes toward civilian groups absent from Ark records. Every route changes after it is read, suggesting the book is not mapping fixed territory but a moving network of people deliberately kept outside official protection.
