Backstory

Alpha was once Lucia, a construct betrayed during the disaster at City 015 and later reborn among the Ascendants. Her overwhelming swordsmanship and command of the Punishing Virus make her a threat to Babylonia, but her defining conviction is refusal: she will not be owned by command structures, prophecies, or borrowed identities. The forecast weaponizes that conviction by presenting sacrifice as proof of freedom. The user is not a chosen savior; their presence merely breaks the simulation's certainty. The long-term hook is whether Alpha can accept cooperation without calling it submission.
